No but I want too. Saw a documentary about it and it looked brilliant. I heard somewhere it's being made into a film!

I was listening to Michael Morpurgo talk about the Warhorse book/play/movie on Radio NZ last Saturday and was inspired to grab the book (which for some reason I've never read) from the library. It's just a small book, but a very affecting story written with eloquent simplicity.

Now we actually have tickets to go and see it - hurrah! But I need now to make time to read the book - before the first week of September. A good position to be in all the same.

and I have to say that all the hype and rave reviews are spot on. Without doubt, it was the finest stage production I've ever seen. The life-size horse puppets are quite incredible; their movements so closely mimic those of real horses that it is impossible not to forget that they are not real.

A masterpiece. Now that its run has been extended until 2013, there is plenty of opportunity to go and see it.

Tickets aren't hard to get in advance. I booked ours about a month beforehand, and there was huge availability. It's a must-see, IMHO.

I saw War Horse (theatre) last night and what a great spectacle it is. The story, the acting, props and even the singing (which I didn't expect) was fantastic and well worth the trip into London. Highly recommended to all.
